Republican candidates need to stop talking about how they want to ban birth control. There are like a zillion other issues going on in the US and the world that they should be worrying about. Not if a woman decides she wants to take the pill. I mean its not really any of their business. Birth control and sex are NOT the enemy.

I’m really into bright colors lately, which is weird because I normally wear only black and gray or dark colors. Yesterday to work I work a hot pink sweater with big gray polka dots, and I feel like that opened the flood gates. Gap has some great bright jackets for spring. Below are some random pieces I’m wooing from various sites (I am pretty sure I can even barely afford the coats at Gap haha). I’m totally obsessed with that pink Michael Kors crossbody bag. And all the Miu Miu shoes. Love the flared heel on the orange-red patent heel.

I’m back!!!
So as summer winds down so do some of my favorite summer guilty pleasure shows, which includes Pretty Little Liars and Rizolli and Isles. Thankfully I have The Lying Game to tide me over! But of course aside from delightful weathengs a whole slew of new tv shows, and this fall there are so many I want to check out, it will be hard to maintain my whole try and watch less tv thing. Aside from returning shows such a Modern Family, Parks and Recreation, The Good Wife, and Fringe, I am really excited for the following new shows:

I am on the fence about Hart of Dixie (I love Rachel Bilson but this show just looks kind of meh), Terra Nova, The Playboy Club, Prime Suspect, and Suburgatory.
As for reality shows I am excited for Top Model all-stars and designer Chris March’s show Mad Fashion.
I guess it’s good I have two DVRs!!
